Academic results are for the purpose of this transfer and commercialization are described as „Technologies“ and usually take the form of specific technical solution of a practical problem. Technologies are, therefore, for example, a new surgical instrument, an improved or new drug, an existing drug for a new and unexpected indication, an innovative dietary supplement, a new production or diagnostic procedure or method, a specific computer program.
